Waterton Lakes National Park is located in the southwest corner of Alberta, in one of the narrowest regions of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Sharing a border and an international distinction with Glacier National Park, it forms the Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park.

40 miles (60 km or approx. 34 hour drive) north of Glacier Park entrance at St. Mary, Montana.
